A French- Swiss couple fell in love with Barcelona and decided to buy an apartment in their favorite neighborhood next to Museu Picasso. They like to surround themselves with good friends and good wine. Their children took the opportunity to study at the University of Barcelona. We did a Renovation Museu Picasso for them.
Between the Museu Picasso and the Mercat del Born is Carrer Flassaders, a narrow street in the old town of Barcelona. The buildings in this area have a characteristic look with their wooden beams and brick walls. This apartment was completely renovated for a couple who wanted a little place in their beloved Barcelona.
We take care of every detail of the project, understanding it as a whole. From the choice of flooring to the tiles in the kitchen and bathroom. We integrate the details as part of the project concept.
Barcelona’s traditional concrete tiles are an important part of the city’s architectural heritage. They were used in the old buildings of Eixample and resemble patterned carpets, but have a Mediterranean touch. These concrete tiles are in high demand today. In Renovation Museu Picasso we use old concrete tiles in our projects and also contemporary reinterpretations of these tiles.
